The Shamrock Society is a group of Irish and Irish-American leaders in Atlanta who support Irish values of family, faith and charity, through Irish-related causes and charities and other charitable organizations. Each of us is active in business, education, ministry, philanthropy, or government, and the Atlanta community generally. The Shamrock Society was initially formed to support the Atlanta St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Foundation. While continuing to do so, the Shamrock Society has expanded its mission into being an umbrella organization which also creates a broader network of connections between its members and between people with Irish connections, both North and South. The Shamrock Society welcomes Irish, Irish-Americans and Scots-Irish, regardless of their denominational affiliation. |
